Virgin Galactic (VG) is seeking a flight surgeon to provide medical support to its space flight operations and to assist in provision of the medical care for our folks headed to space. The flight surgeon will provide screening, medical risk assessment, and medical care for the pilots and future astronauts prior to and after flight, and will assist with the Emergency Response planning and response for the company. This position is also responsible for integrating with design and engineering teams, providing consultative input for current and future space flight systems. Familiarity and experience in aviation and space medicine is crucial to the role. What a great honor this will be to serve as one of the first flight surgeons for one of the first commercial space lines as we open space to change the world for good.

TSC is seeking a Ground Station Engineer responsible for assisting in the development, integration, and maintenance of the mission control center (MCC) that supports WhiteKnightTwo and SpaceshipTwo. The position involves working closely with the Avionics and Electrical Engineers responsible for the vehicles as well as the Simulator Engineer. The scope of the avionics instrumentation position includes: operating and maintaining equipment required to receive, decode, and display telemetry and simulator data, selection and integration of new equipment compatible with existing instrumentation systems installed aboard the vehicles, and working with all other engineering disciplines to create, validate, and troubleshoot data displays for live monitoring of flight test data. The ground station engineer will also be involved in the testing and checkout of new instrumentation, and the selection, integration, and maintenance of portable ground-support electronics hardware and software. The ground station engineer will be responsible for the integration and maintenance of the audio system integrated into the mission control system. Finally, the ground station engineer will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a custom C++ DLL used to decode the Avionics data bus data from the vehicle.
