This Lead Engineer will lead a team of multi-functional operation engineers in the daily execution of on-boarding, transitioning, change management, flight testing, maintenance and vehicle operations; will provide project task priorities and schedule planning, will provide direction in modifications management and issues resolution of the platform vehicles and its applicable GSE. The Spaceship Company (TSC) is seeking an experienced composites bonding, assembly, fabrication, and test technician to join our dynamic Spaceship Propulsion Team. This Spaceship Propulsion Production Technician is for a hands-on person with great attention to detail and excellent people skills. The first task of this role will be to quickly learn and understand our unique bonding and assembly processes used in the production of our hybrid rocket motors. The technician in this position will work from engineering drawings and detailed work instructions to fabricate top quality propulsion components. VG is seeking an incredibly talented, energetic, and experienced Business Support Specialist to join our team. You will have a wide variety of responsibilities including many of a complex and/or confidential manner. The ideal candidate will be a functional member of the administrative team but assigned to directly support a substantially sized technical operations organization that is made up of maintenance, engineering and quality personnel in a busy ITAR compliant facility. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, working with minimal supervision, and performing many responsibilities simultaneously. You must be a self-starter, project oriented, able to assess needs, implement processes, and quickly produce results with a high attention to detail. Prior experience in a fast-paced start-up environment is beneficial. The flight surgeon will provide screening, medical risk assessment, and medical care for the pilots and future astronauts prior to and after flight, and will assist with the Emergency Response planning and response for the company. This position is also responsible for integrating with design and engineering teams, providing consultative input for current and future space flight systems. Familiarity and experience in aviation and space medicine is crucial to the role. This position is responsible for assisting with designing, developing, presenting, coordinating and implementing the curriculum/ training and OJT programs for technical operations team members in accordance with technical specifications, engineering documentation, and OEM documentation. The candidate must have a desire to learn something new, enthusiasm for the new space industry, and be able to mix existing aerospace experience with spaceline maintenance training support. This role will be located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Daily work will take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico. Who We Are

The Spaceship Company (TSC) is an affiliate of Virgin Galactic as a space-system manufacturing organization. Headquartered at Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, California, it is building and testing a fleet of WhiteKnightTwo carrier aircraft and SpaceShipTwo reusable spaceships that, together, form Virgin Galactic’s human spaceflight system. Like many Virgin companies across the world, its team of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians and professionals are drawn together by a willingness to disrupt and challenge the status quo and deliver innovative aerospace solutions to our customers’ needs. Who You Are

TSC is seeking an engineering manager with experience in the development of hybrid propulsion systems to lead a team of design engineers. Significant experience with liquid or solid propulsion systems would also be considered. Ideal candidates would have experience working from high level system requirements to develop propulsion system designs that the candidate maintained responsibility for throughout the entire development, qualification and operational process. In addition experience with flight hardware, component qualification/substantiation, motor fabrication and casting, material testing, rocket motor qualification and acceptance testing is a plus. Candidate will also be comfortable working in a hands on environment, and must have a strong sense of accountability.

Who You Are

TSC is seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer with a solid background in hazard management to join TSC’s team. This engineer will be responsible to identify hazards and develop control strategies for WhiteKnight2 (WK2) and SpaceShip2 (SS2) programs.
