Who You Are

TSC is seeking an aerodynamics engineer with experience in flight vehicle performance, stability and control analysis, flight test, and wind tunnel testing. This experience should include test plan development, post test data analysis, authoring test plans and formal reports. The purpose of this role will be to support the review and understanding of the aircraft configuration, performance, and handling qualities of the WK2 and SS2 vehicles and assist in the identification of any needed aerodynamic modifications to support entry into commercial service.

Who You Are

TSC is seeking a Ground Station Engineer responsible for assisting in the development, integration, and maintenance of the mission control center (MCC) that supports WhiteKnightTwo and SpaceshipTwo. The position involves working closely with the Avionics and Electrical Engineers responsible for the vehicles as well as the Simulator Engineer. The scope of the avionics instrumentation position includes: operating and maintaining equipment required to receive, decode, and display telemetry and simulator data, selection and integration of new equipment compatible with existing instrumentation systems installed aboard the vehicles, and working with all other engineering disciplines to create, validate, and troubleshoot data displays for live monitoring of flight test data. The ground station engineer will also be involved in the testing and checkout of new instrumentation, and the selection, integration, and maintenance of portable ground-support electronics hardware and software. The ground station engineer will be responsible for the integration and maintenance of the audio system integrated into the mission control system. Finally, the ground station engineer will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a custom C++ DLL used to decode the Avionics data bus data from the vehicle.

As a Simulation and Controls engineer you will be designing simulations and flight control laws for commercial space vehicles and future aircraft and space projects. You will be collaborating closely with the entire engineering team to build accurate models of the vehicle and subsystems. TSC is looking for an experienced Chief of Flight Test Safety to lead implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System (SMS) for ground and flight test operations. Leveraging your extensive experience you will guide and monitor our team through all stages of test operations from test definition, planning, execution and follow up.
