The primary task of this role will be to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures and work rules to support and maintain an AS9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will work directly with engineering to fully understand the design requirements and to ensure inspection requirements are properly executed and documented. The engineer in this position will help define what manufacturing processes, equipment, tools, and materials will be used in order to enable future vehicles to be both light-weight and easy to build. The Engineer Specialist will compile analysis, reports, models, and margins of safety into standardized formats for upload into TSC’s product lifecycle manager. The primary task for this role will be to design Composite layup tooling for all programs at TSC as well as being the subject matter expert. The Spaceship Company (TSC) is seeking an experienced and inspired Manufacturing Build Manager to take charge of developing and maintaining the manufacturing build plan for multiple program(s). This role will take on the responsibility of managing the product build sequence through thorough communication amongst the engineering departments and the supplementing manufacturing departments. These efforts will lead the direction for developing and implementing MBOM structure for a clear plan of action for the program build execution. This individual will also work with upper management to coordinate efforts regarding scheduling and budget.
