Your Mission

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will work with the Internal Communications Manager and the broader Communications team to support a wide variety of corporate, functional, and internal, communication initiatives.


In this role, you will produce and publish informative and engaging content for company channels to maintain our teammate base apprised of the latest communications. You will collaborate with a broad set of different departments to ensure that functional communications are written and disseminated appropriately, and you will assist the communications team with priority initiatives.


Job Responsibilities

  • Create and manage content on the company intranet site, display screens, and other mediums
  • Draft internal communications to support corporate priority initiatives
  • Support company department communications: responsible for drafting, scheduling, disseminating communications and obtaining feedback
  • Project manage content series end-to-end, sourcing stories from employees and support teams
  • Support communications team in managing and tracking departmental objectives and initiatives
  • Support in the planning and execution of quarterly internal meetings and town halls

What you bring

  • First and foremost, enthusiasm! This is writing internally for a space travel company, after all!
  • Phenomenal verbal and written communication, and copywriting skills
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with a variety of departments and stakeholders, including HR, brand and marketing, IT, Safety and Security and others
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong ability to work on the visual layout of content and familiarity with digital and video means of communication
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or relevant field
  • 2-4 years’ experience in internal communications role, corporate communications role
  • Proven experience as communications specialist and able to provide writing samples



  • Eye for graphic design to produce visuals to accompany internal company ads and articles. Experience with Adobe preferred
  • Experience in writing for a variety of different audiences is also desired, including creative writing skills, blogging, and vlogging
  • Experience in publishing content on SharePoint
  • Experience with photo and video-editing software

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
