Your Mission

  • Day to day point of contact for general HR inquiries within our Aerospace Systems organization.
  • Support New Hire orientation and other onboarding activities to assist with onboarding new hires and completion of new hire paperwork.
  • Be a liaison between teammates, managers, People team, and Payroll when it comes to keeping shifts organized and tracked accordingly.
  • Help maintain organized and compliant personnel files.
  • Deliver top-quality customer service to teammates in your own unique and “delightfully surprising” way.
  • Take on other special one-time projects for the People department…ways to grow your experience even further on one’s expertise and skills!
  • Coordinate the responses for the identified areas of the People VG Inbox.
  • Own the processing of Unemployment Claims for the organization supported.
  • Complete verification of Employment for the organization supported.
  • Support and enable the completion of the organization supported HR related paperwork requirements (exit paperwork, memos, severance agreements, written warnings, etc.)

What you bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is preferred, but not a deal breaker
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems
  • Basic knowledge of employee benefits and onboarding
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail…like stellar attention!
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office applications, including intermediate Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.


As part of our commitment to health and safety, COVID-19 vaccines are required for current U.S. teammates, as well as all newly hired employees. 

As of October 1, 2021, all new hires must be able to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, ( “fully vaccinated” means at least two weeks have expired since receiving the vaccination’s last dose as recommended by the manufacturer) .
