Your mission is to represent Virgin Galactic while looking after our Food and Beverage (F&B) needs both in Las Cruces as well as spaces throughout Spaceport America. You will be coordinating our operational F&B requirements while delivering amazing service to our guests and our teammates.
Reports to: You report to the GM of Astronaut Experience.
What does it take to become part of our team?
Your impeccable, friendly service kicks off our customers’ journey into space! You will be able to work well operationally, supporting the F&B operation from both the front of house as well as back of house. Your abilities to multitask and prioritize are essential and you always bring a smile to work. You are organized, creative, and super passionate about hospitality. You are an experienced F&B professional who loves anything to do with food and drinks! You support the daily operations by coordinating orders, deliveries, and upkeep of F&B areas throughout. You monitor quality standards and service, as well as work on restaurant related training manuals. Responsibilities include ordering, maintaining service standards, product quality and cleanliness, handling quality and service, managing supplies, and resolving inconsistencies in operations or orders.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Physical and/or Additional Requirements
Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime as well as weekends when needed
Must be able to stand for extended periods – 9 hours min
Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to manoeuvre in tight spaces
Physically able to handle items weighing up to 40lbs (unassisted)
Must be in possession of a up-to-date food handler's certificate
