    Who You Are

    TSC is seeking an Oracle Business Analyst to join the Solutions Delivery team within the Information Technology department. The Oracle Business Analyst will work with users and fellow team members to provide solutions and on-time project completion.  This role will provide support for troubleshooting of all production issues. As an Oracle Business Analyst, you will be able provide expertise in Oracle functionality, support various departments use of oracle, and facilitate testing related to enhancements and improvements of the system. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, must be comfortable working under minimal supervision, and have attention to detail.

    Your Mission

    • Work with project team and end users to gather business requirements, translating high-level information into functional requirements and validate that requirements are based on business needs rather than user preferences; reconcile conflicts/issues as needed
    • Document and maintain functional requirements
    • Experience in Oracle operational support for various departments in an organization
    • Conducts and approves integration testing and provides support during user acceptance testing
    • Supports the creation of the solution cut over and deployment plans
    • Supports the creation of the operational run book for the support team
    • Investigate Oracle e-Business Suite functionality, data, and interface problems, and determine and implement resolutions.
    • Document Oracle Business Suite configuration, support information, and customizations in accordance with standard application methodology.
    • Work with internal customers to identify improvements, alternatives, or new capabilities that would benefit the organization.
    • Work with internal infrastructure, database, and other applications development teams to ensure proper unit, system, user acceptance, and performance testing.
    • Assist with orientation and training of Oracle end users/customers.  Coordinating with training and development team, as required.
    • Update and maintain Oracle Workflow Builder and/or Approvals Management (AME)
    • Serves as a functional resource for others.
    • Other related duties assigned as needed.

    What you bring

    • 5+ years of experience with Oracle e-Business Suite
    • BA/BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • In-depth functional configuration experience of at least two of the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules (preferably release 12.2.4): General Ledger, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Costing, Manufacturing, or Inventory
    • Experience providing day-to-day end-user support of at least one of the following functional areas: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Costing, Manufacturing, or Inventory
    • Ability to develop SQL queries, and troubleshoot SQL queries and PL/SQL packages
    • Successful track record of investigating data, applications and processes to identify problem sources and find and implement changes and solutions
    • Communication and People skills: able to interface with customers and key stakeholders, and communicate effectively across organization levels and functional domains
    • Knowledge of current Oracle e-Business technologies and updates, Oracle standards, procedures and best practices
    • Oracle Application Framework knowledge (OAF): personalization, HTML pages, Java class extensions within the context of the e-Business suite
    • Experience in ERP system customization using recognized best practices is required
    • Knowledge of business process flows in an ERP system is required
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong organizational skills and creative problem solving abilities
    • Strong customer service and leadership skills required
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of the company
    • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and able to maneuver in tight spaces
    • Ability to routinely lift 15-30 lbs., and occasionally lift and move up to 40 lbs.

     

    ITAR Requirements

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
