Your Mission

TSC is seeking a talented and motivated Flight Instrumentation Engineer to join our Avionics/Instrumentation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, installation, maintenance, and operation of flight test instrumentation systems. This is a hands on job that requires good troubleshooting skills. A good understanding of signal conditioning, data acquisition concepts, RF communication, and wire harness design is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Flight Test Instrumentation design
  • Create initial schematics, detailed parts drawings, and installation drawings
  • Support other departments regarding flight test instrumentation integration
  • Support the development of aircraft wiring, cable harness and wire routing diagrams
  • Operational support of SS2 and WK2 instrumentation system

What you bring

Educational Requirements:

  • Must have a B.S. degree from an accredited university

 

Professional Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of relevant instrumentation engineering experience on development aircraft and/or spacecraft
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
