Who you are
Virgin Galactic (VG) is seeking a hands-on IT manager to help establish the world’s first operating spaceline. The IT Manager will work in close coordination with Virgin Galactic’s sister company, The Spaceship Company (TSC) whose network and policy infrastructure VG shares. The IT Manager shall ensure delivery of effective IT services to all of Galactic Venture (GV) programs. They shall work with the VG-TSC Group Director of IT and company stakeholders to design, configure, document and maintain all IT-related hardware, software, peripherals security and policies for all Galactic Venture facilities. The IT Manager will also provide hands-on technical support to the implementation and test of IT systems and IT infrastructure across all locations.
Location: This position will be split between Spaceport America, NM and our Las Cruces, NM office, and will also provide support for all of VG & TSC locations.
